Description

Sumoll & Xarel·lo Vermell

Made by direct pressing of Sumoll Negre (harvested in mid-October) and a few weeks of skin contact with Xarel·lo Vermell (a “grey” variety).

Fermented in clay amphorae and aged for a few months in French oak barrels of several uses.

Costador Terroir Mediterranis

Costador is a project long recognised as a “top” wine in the many export markets where it is present. From the oldest wine cooperative building in Spain, in Barberà de la Conca, Joan Franquet vinifies the three product lines that make up Costador, practising biodynamic agriculture and natural vinification.

The vineyards are old, most between 60 and 110 years old, with different terroirs of clay and limestone, located at altitudes between 400 and 800 metres. The whole process is fermented with wild, native yeasts in amphorae, stainless steel tanks or oak barrels.
