Faithful representative of the complex mineral expression of Garraf.

Made from hand-picked, old-vine Xarel·lo and Riesling. Traditional fermentation without added selected yeasts, with part of the Xarel·lo fermented in large chestnut barrels.

Straw-yellow colour, with aromas of fresh white-fleshed fruit, aromatic herbs and smokiness. On the palate it shows the complexity and minerality of this unique terroir: the Xarel·lo provides backbone and roundness, while the Riesling brings elegance and depth. Pairs wonderfully with chargrilled vegetables, white fish, risottos, creamy rice dishes and oriental cuisine.

Can Ràfols dels Caus is one of the most singular wineries in Europe, carved into the rock of the Garraf, with 2,000 years of history in harmony with its surroundings. Its vineyards, at around 300 m altitude on shallow limestone soil, are home to 28 grape varieties, from native Xarel·lo, Macabeu and Sumoll to international varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon, all farmed with respect for the environment.
