Tempranillo (ull de llebre) vines in La Horra, ranging from 20 to over 50 years old.
Description
Hand-harvested into 12 kg chestnut-wood baskets. Aged 12 months in new barrels (85% French oak, 15% American oak). Bottled and further aged to complete 2 years.
Appearance: an elegant, deep purple red wine with cherry-red rim. Aromas: black and red fruit, black pepper, cardamom, clove, star anise and eucalyptus. Palate: round entry, velvety tannic structure, long finish.
