Description

60% Carignan & 40% Grenache

Made 100% with Porrera grapes. A wine made for sharing.

“M’ho ha dit un ocellet” 2017 vintage: 60% Carignan and 40% Grenache, vinified separately, grapes trodden by foot as was traditionally done in the Priorat. Very short maceration with whole grapes and a very gentle pressing. Aged 6 months in stainless steel before bottling.

Cherry colour with lively violet hues. On the nose, red and forest fruit, especially ripe blackberry, with eucalyptus and black liquorice. Extremely silky on the palate, where the corpulent Grenache meets a straighter Carignan.

Mas d’en Perí

Mas d’en Perí is a farmhouse dating from the mid-19th century. My family acquired it at the end of the 1950s; I am the third generation to work the land, but the first to make wine.

17 ha make up the farm, with 4 currently planted — Grenache and Carignan planted by my father 15 years ago, with new white varieties now being added. I follow a sustainable line, working with minimal intervention.

I am a woman winegrower from the Priorat, interpreting the vineyard and the landscape in my wines.
