Tinta de Toro
A lively and expressive wine, with fresh aromas of red bramble, currant and myrtle fruit, with elegant tertiary notes from its time in barrel, fine roasted notes, coffee, medium lactones and liquorice stick.
The vineyard: on the sandy, limestone-flecked soils of Finca de la Calera, at the western edge of the D.O. Toro, an austere vineyard grows in an almost arid climate.
The wine: a good layer of purple tones with a very dark hue, clean and bright. A lively tannin structure in harmony with fresh acidity that enhances the red fruit aromas, with a long, fresh and very pleasant finish.
