Moscatel

100% Moscatel from vineyards planted in the late 1990s on clay-limestone soil with a surface layer of rounded pebbles.

The wine is blended in the right proportions so the final product reaches 15.5% vol. and 80 g of natural sugar per litre: part sweet Moscatel liqueur wine and the rest dry, temperature-controlled fermentation wine. The alcohol content is then balanced with wine-based spirit up to 15.5º.

Appearance: a Moscatel liqueur wine (mistela) with far less sugar than its counterparts (only 80 g per litre). Bright golden yellow colour with a dense, syrup-like appearance.

Nose: intense, varietal and fruity, with all the typicity of a great Moscatel. Notes of peach, orange blossom, orange and ripe mandarin, with an intense memory of honey.

Palate: smooth, with fine, well-balanced acidity. Sweet, aromatic, dense and persistent, with a long, indulgent finish and a delicate aftertaste.

Pairing: a liquid pleasure to enjoy on its own. Pairs beautifully with blue cheeses, foie gras and desserts in general.
