Wine flights
What's a wine flight?
It’s a type of wine tasting that compares two o more wines that share a common thread or theme – By drinking your wine glasses side-by-side you can come back and forth and note the slight (or big!) differences of flavors and aromas between them.
Tasting wines side-by-side is fun, educational and will definitely improve your palate and expand your wine horizons!
About our Wine Flights:
An informal, yet educational comparative tasting of 4 premium wines:
Each wine has been carefully selected reflecting a concept, a distinctive sense of place and a vigneron philosophy from all over Spain.
The flight includes: a welcome glass of cava + a cheese plate, with bread and olive oil (€35 without chees, € 43 with cheese, p/p)
Through these wine tastings you will get to experience and identify how a region affects the style and taste profile of the wine. Specially, when it comes to taste the same grape from different appellations (D.O.s) as in our Garnacha Darling flight, as this grape is a very versatile one and a perfect choice to showcase the influence of terroir (climate and soils) over its varietal expression.
Also you’ll get to taste and find more about those indigenous and traditional grapes both from Catalonia and many other regions as there is a solid trend of Spanish growers working consciously on and bringing back traditional practices into modern winemaking and recovering many varieties once heavily planted but, in many cases, now forgotten.
You will taste grape varieties such as Montonega, Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Parellada, Sumoll, Cariñena, among Catalan wines and Monastrell, Garnacha, Graziano, Mencía, among the wines from the rest of Spain.
If you are a wine lover this is definitely for you!

Our wine flights
Garnatxa Darling wine flight
Spain is known for its Tempranillo (ull de llebre or hare's eye in Catalonia), but there is another grape that sometimes goes unnoticed despite being one of the most famous varieties in the world: Grenache.
This wine, with a fruity and full-flavored character, in which we often find strawberries and raspberries – red fruits – comes from a grape that reveals many personalities depending on the conditions of the soil and the climate where it has been planted.
It is for this reason that in the tasting we will focus on these differences. Being planted in so many places, as well as growing in a wide variety of terrain, the styles of Grenache are very varied. The main regions in Spain for this grape are: Campo de Borja, Cariñena, Calatayud (all three in Aragon), Navarra, Montsant and Priorat. And within these regions there are many types of soil (shale, granite, clay, limestone and gravel) that impart distinctive aromas and a special taste to the wine.
In this wine flight we will go from the light and fun red fruits of the young Grenaches that we are used to drinking, to the tastier, dense, black and enriched with a good aging time.
Spanish singular red wines flight
This tasting of four handmade wines from unique terroirs, based on a superior variety (the color of the wine), will allow you to learn about the diversity and quality of Spanish wines.
We can taste varieties such as Monastrell, Grenache, Graciano, Mencía, Listán Negre from several Spanish D.O.s that will show us the variety of the chosen red wines.
Wine flight of native Catalan grapes
According to producers, there were around 150 grape varieties before phylloxera, but many of them were stopped from being planted because they were considered of low quality or unprofitable.
Luckily, many Catalan producers are recovering old varieties and planting new wines with native grapes, betting on local specificity and also recovering traditional practices by integrating them with current wine production techniques.
In this wine flight, we will taste wines from small producers who have specialized in native and traditional grapes such as Montonega, Macabeu, Xarel lo, Parellada, Samsó, Sumoll, Trepat, Mandó…
It is a great way to discover the uniqueness and diversity of Catalan wines.
