Condes Albarei – Áine 2017 – DO Rías Baixas
Albariño
Subtle yet complex aromas with saline hints, refreshing on the palate with a marked mineral character and a long finish.
Albariño
This wine from the Condes de Albarei winery is named after Áine, the Celtic goddess of the air and wind, the mistress of our dreams and illusions, and daughter of the sea god.
Albarei “Áine” is made with grapes from vineyards bathed by the waters of the Ría de Arousa, which has a “magical” influence on the ripening process.
Tasting notes: Subtle yet complex aromas, with saline hints. Very refreshing on the palate with a marked mineral character, ensuring a long and excellent evolution in the bottle.
Adega Condes de Albarei was established in 1988 by enthusiastic vine growers from the Salnés Valley, soon becoming a point of reference within the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin. In 1991 it was awarded the gold medal at Bordeaux’s Challenge International du Vin, the first such award for a Spanish white wine.
